Current green bay walleye report

The Green Bay Walleye bite continues to remain steady with mornings being filled with perfect eater size walleye and afternoons getting a mixed bag of larger fish and eaters.

Crawler programs have been very effective in both shallower and deep mud flats. We have been finding fish early in the 17-19 foot range down 8 to 15 feet over those depths.

18 -35 back with 1 ounce inline weights paired up with anti freeze green and white #4-5-6 size blades have been the best.

Bigger fish have been high in the water column.

The biggest challenge has been staying away from rough fish to keep your baits running clean long enough to entice those walleyes.

Speeds have been from 1.1 all the way up to 1.8 depending on currents.

pay close attention to your speeds going one direction then when turned around don't adjust any setting and see how much your speed changes.

One trick we use is to keep a bottom bouncer down off the side with a 2 ounce weight and maintain bottom contact with the same amount of line out going multiple directions at your fish catching speed.

Current Sturgeon bay salmon report

The Big Kings are here and in good numbers. We have been seeing numerous fish in the mid to upper 20'S weight class in our morning and afternoon trips.

Magnum Spoons on 200 and 300 coppers have been our biggest producer. Flasher flies on those same 200 and 300 coppers have also been working along with wire and braid dipsey divers

The bank reef has been the most popular area in depths ranging from 100 out to 200+.

Mag pro king spoons have been our best in white/green glow colors and green pro king flashers with a 26" fly leader in little boy blue and green copper have been the best as well.

Ill be out this week for both salmon and walleye ill get another report up by next Monday.

Tight lines and get out there and make some memories!!
